Can you store part of a house?

Storage simply runs on. Your containers stay put until you call them back - an overrun changes the redelivery date, not the arrangement.
Can the crew move furniture between rooms instead?
For light works, yes - shifting furniture room to room is small-move work. Once dust, floors, or plaster are involved, out of the house beats round the house.
