How does containerised storage work?
Containerised storage means the crew collects your belongings, packs them into numbered wooden containers at the depot, seals them, and holds them until you want them back - then redelivers as one move. What is a containerised store?
Your belongings travel in purpose-built wooden containers of 250 cubic feet each - internally about 7ft 6in long, 5ft wide, and 7ft tall. Each container is numbered, packed for you, and can be security-sealed; oversized loads can take a 20ft steel container on request. The container is the unit of everything: what you fill is what you store.
How do collection, storage and redelivery work?
Three steps. The crew collects: your things are wrapped, loaded at your door, and packed into numbered containers at the depot. They store: sealed and numbered, until your dates resolve. They redeliver: the same load, back at your new address, as a planned move rather than a warehouse errand. How many containers do I need?
That is the estimator’s job, not a guess at a unit size. You describe your contents, and the count of 250 cu ft containers is set against them - so a small overflow load and a four-bed house are each stored as exactly what they are, without paying for a room you cannot fill.
